Join our Youth Advisory Panel

We're excited to launch our new Youth Advisory Panel (YAP) and are looking for 12 young people (ages 14-24) who’ve faced dyslexia, vision impairment, ADHD, or other reading challenges to join us.

As a YAP member, you can get involved in improving the reading experience for other young people with similar reading challenges – sharing your knowledge with people who would really benefit.

You’ll have monthly meetings (during term time and the summer holiday) where you’ll be able to help Calibre Audio understand what young readers want.

You can come up with new ideas to enhance our services and programs, as well as recording announcements and newsletters in our studio.

You can become a confident leader and inspire others, develop problem-solving skills, connect with like-minded individuals, and get insight into how a non-profit organisation works. (Your CV will also say thanks – it's never too early to prepare for future opportunities!)

This is a real chance to speak up for young people who find it hard to read.

So, if you’re aged 14-24, deal with a reading challenge (yourself or someone you know), live or study in Buckinghamshire and want to make a positive difference, then join the Calibre Audio Youth Advisory Panel.
