Do you have a keen ear for detail? 

We would love to welcome you to our team of volunteer checkers!

Alongside our volunteer narrators, volunteer checkers play a crucial role in the audiobook process. Our checkers listen to recordings from beginning to end, reporting any errors or sound quality issues before the recording is added to the library.

This role can be done in your own time and in the comfort of your home. Recordings can be sent via WeTransfer to your email address to download onto a device for ease of use to listen to. If that is not an option, then we can also send the books out on a CD or USB stick in a wallet to your address.

No prior experience of checking audiobooks is necessary, but an enjoyment of listening to audiobooks, podcasts or similar is preferable.
