Become a Christmas Volunteer

Could you help our Christmas card workshop?

Calibre Audio is a charity supporting anyone with a difficulty which means they struggle to read print, with a wonderful audiobook lending service and a range of other support like our Membership Services team, podcasts and author interviews, partnerships with literary festivals.

Our members absolutely love buying our Christmas cards each year – and supporting us financially in the process!

We are looking for some volunteers to help get our Christmas cards out to those members once they’ve placed their orders.

Based in our friendly and welcoming offices just outside Aylesbury, you would be helping to pack the orders as they come in, for our Library staff to pop in the post. The only skills needed are to be able to read the printed-out orders, pack the right cards into the jiffy bags, add the postal labels, and pass them along to be posted. If you are keen to learn more, we would be delighted to involve you in our regular fundraising administration work too.

We are offering the chance to come to somewhere friendly and welcoming for a few hours each week, try new things and meet new people, and support our members all around the country with the Calibre Christmas cards they so love to send to their families and friends.

There is free onsite parking, and a bus stop very close by.

We also offer unlimited tea, coffee and biscuits!

We are looking for volunteers to come in for two to three hours each week, with days and timings to be agreed – we can be flexible. Ideal start and end dates would be w/c 23 October to w/c 4 December.
